The Rolling Stone magazine dubbed the Good Rats "the world's most famous unknown band". While much of the genius is due to singer/songwriter and founding member Peppi Marchello, the band too deserves credit for their contribution to the sound and overall band 'vibe'. In their heyday, The Rats opened for bands like Kiss, Rush and other greats. In part, they never quite made it big beyond NY tri-state area because of Peppi's staunch personality and desire to make it on his terms only.
