Yes, they are as bad as I was told.
If you can get past the angsty lyrics some of their songs are actually pretty good. But of course, it's post-grunge so people feel the need to hate on them for no other reason than that.

Post-grunge at some of it's most boring and mediocre, but not at it's worst. I liked them when I was younger though.
This is such a great band, you just have to hear their albums one by one to catch how their sound's turning mature across the years. But yeah, lyrics are all around the same things.
