Fred Neil was an influential American folk singer-songwriter and a pioneer of the Greenwich Village folk scene in the 1960s. Known for his powerful baritone voice and his mastery of the 12-string guitar, he influenced legends like Bob Dylan, Jefferson Airplane, and Tim Buckley.
"Everybody's Talkin'": His most famous composition, which became a global hit when covered by Harry Nilsson for the film Midnight Cowboy.
"The Dolphins": A signature track that showcased his unique blend of folk, blues, and jazz, reflecting his lifelong passion for marine life.
The guy who wrote so beautiful many songs that we know without knowing he was the wauthor. This particular album is simply perfect.
