There have never been two voices that complemented each other as perfectly as those of The Everly Brothers. Just about every band in the 60s has tried to live up to the harmonies of Don and Phil. The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Byrds, Simon And Garfunkel, Love, The Kinks, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young and many many more, but none of them were able to match their perfection. I believe that when you die and go to heaven, The Everly Brothers will be the angles singing on arrival. Simply the greatest close harmony singers of all time.
