There's nothing worse than a musical 'prodigy' with no ability to truly convey emotions, spending eternity jerking off with a hundred thousand harmonies and nonsense. The Ramones only needed three chords to tear up any stage

Perhaps I am just jealous of him, his technique and his fame, of how he generates adoration wherever he goes... but I don't think he is particularly interesting, and Collier isn't a particularly capable songwriter IMO. I don't find his tunes very effective.
Definitely an interesting phenomenon though.

Haven't heard any albums but his npr desk performance was really awesome. Freaking insanely talented guy. Also his music tutorial on harmony is really great. His youtube stuff is fire.
