I was fortunate enough to see the original Cockney Rebel in 1974 (my second ever gig). They were awesome and very talented musicians. To this day I look back at that concert as one of my top twenty. The Human Menagerie is an excellent album and a tribute to the band at the time.
The Human Menagerie must be the most overlooked & underated album of all time, an absolute classic from start to finish, hard to choose favourites, but at a push Sebastian, & Death Trip probably the stand outs, incredible to believe this LP never actually made it into the UK chart, glad to say The Psychomodo did, and this also stands out as an all time classic in my opinion, with The Ritz, Cavaliers, & Tumbling Down the outstanding tracks.
