Courtney Hale is a student of music and metal history and it shows. Great group that is more than just a bunch of headbangers.
Halestorm will bring something out inside you the first time you watch brother and sister Arejay and Lzzy Rock that stage. It was like a drug for me. I've been to concerts all my life and had never been effected to this degree by any artist/band/show/movie/music/art ANYTHING. she demands your attention the second she walks on that stage. having you rock out to songs u never heard before yet you wanna sing along. Thank god after seeing them open for carnival of madness and end up being the closers as well (CHICAGO) show was rained out. Halestorm brought on a fuckin hailstorm like no other. the rain was flying horizontally and the pellets of water were the size of ping pong balls. the rain had no effect on their performance besides toyota park shutting them down on the closing song Here's to Us.
I was very upset not to see Chevelle and Evanescence performance but yet completely satisfied. it was a weird feeling. Then i ran out to buy both LP's and they are both different in their own right yet amazing in their own right as well. from start to finish. no skipping necessary.
Since then, which was on Aug '11 i have seen them perform live 4 times driving as much as 500 miles to see them. Soon May will be another 2/3 shows i will go to. I cannot wait! Halestorm fucking ROCKS. learn it. go see them live. its even better than the cd. Check out Live in Philly as an example of what a true artist sounds like with no mastering or autotune. pure fucking brilliance and talent! I will marry her one day.
