Yes, it's pop. Yes, it's heavily produced. But, it's effective for what it is. Ace of Base were the ABBA wannabees of the 1990s. But, hey...it's got a great beat and it's easy to dance to. That gives them enough to warrant them American Bandstand approval (if American Bandstand were still around).
