Mike Zito can definitely play blues guitar. His song, Pearl River, on this album of the same name, was voted Song of the Year at the 2010 Blues Music Awards. More recently, he was named Rock Blues Artist of the Year at the 2018 Blues Music Awards. Mike Zito has mentored Samantha Fish. If you like Samantha Fish, or Walter Trout, or Kenny Wayne Sheperd, or Jonny Lang, you will certainly like Mike Zito.
