While Tom's music is average at best, I like what he does with it - Standing up to the Woke bullies and disemboweling the ill-informed, irrational, and incoherent arguments that they are constantly shoving down our throats. Nothing MacDonald says is particularly new or earth-shattering. In fact, he's just saying what most sane, reasonable, non-hateful people have been trying to say for years. Yet somehow this common sense is considered "controversial", often leading to people being banned or cancelled for uttering it. And this is why I admire Tom's bravery, even though I don't always agree with everything he says. By standing up to the Woke mob, he's providing a positive example for others in the entertainment industry to follow. The Woke bullies win only when the rest of us are cowering in fear of being banned or cancelled by them. We are the majority views (of all races), not them. We are the mainstream opinion, not them. And they are the ones who seem to be driven by hatred, not us. But they have all the power of Big Tech and corporate media, creating the false perception that their extremist and hyper-judgemental views are the only acceptable ones.
This is why I can say with confidence that Tom is punching up. That's right. He is punching up. He's not criticizing the oppressed or the disenfranchised. He's criticizing the authoritarian elitists trying to control what everybody else is allowed to say or think. Few others in his field are willing to do that, and this is why he has become hugely successful on YouTube and iTunes. Average, everyday people love what Tom is saying. We don't hate you, Woke people. We don't wish you any harm. We're just sick and tired of being bullied, vilified, and lied to by you.
It's clear that Tom is not the one who is hateful. Tom is merely challenging the Woke mob's hatred of everybody else. And an objective perusal of the lyrics makes this crystal clear. For example,
"Black folks and white folks divided by the news
But we're all the same, we are red, white, and blue"
Sure, it's simplistic (and USA-centric), but does that sound like something a Nazi or white nationalist would say? Seriously? Methinks thou project too much.
