Talented guy certainly, but this album is a smooth yacht-rock type affair with a lot of 'incidental music for soundtracks' material and without much to distinguish it beyond good craftmanship and a smooth session sax player wailing away. He is better known in the music business as a very successful songwriter (with Peter Cetera/Chicago, for eg.) and a slick producer (Alice Cooper, The Tubes and more in rock music, but mostly MOR.)
