A hidden gem of a band, overlooked because they were too Christian for mainstream radio and too talented for Christian radio. Their first two albums a brightly colored pop with surprising layers of songwriting depth and strewn with clever/witty lyrics that are indictments of superficial culture (La La Land, Popular Americans, Smash Hit, and Worldwide Socialites Unite) but also some more emotionally affecting ballads like Torn, Drive, Tenderness, and Put Your Arms Around Me
