The Savage Rose was a highly original band from Denmark that was formed in the late 1960's. Keymembers were the brothers Anders and Thomas Koppel along with female singer Annisette. They recorded during 1968-1973 a string of great albums, with the debut album and 1971's "Your Daily Gift" as some of the most remarkable.

When Anders Koppel left the band in the mid-seventies the band changed their style, and many of the later albums were sung in their Danish mothertongue; often with political issues in their lyrics.
