So glad that I gave this album another listen.
I missed the subtleties the first time.
Ironically, the lyrics come straight from the mouth of one who could also be overlooked.
Tales of growing older and reflections on the past.

King Creosotes vocals are whispered with a heart breaking sweetness and carefully framed in the warmth of Jon Hopkins textures.

Bats In The Attic is a mini anthem. A great example of how a small song can appear epic. There is a poppier remix of this song available on the 'Honest Words' E.P.

Imagine 'The Blue nile' collaborating with 'Talk Talk' and Brian Eno on production. Thats kind of a what I feel on this album.

Beautiful, intimate and wonderfully human.
