Not listed (at this time) on this site is Mengelberg's best album, one of the best jazz albums of the 90s, and one of the best jazz albums nobody's heard of. That would be Who's Bridge, from 1994. Some of the tracks are available on YouTube, but only a few, and it's best as an album--it's a journey. Nothing but piano trio, no horns or anything to break it up; it comes at you fast. Free and noisy in places, cute and whimsical in others, Monk-on-acid sort of thing. If you like jazz, the uncut stuff, you should find Mengelberg's Who's Bridge, in one old toad's opinion.
