A bit of a well-kept secret, the daughter of Maddy Prior and Rick Kemp of the folk-rock band Steeleye Span has yet to make a real name for herself. However, 2008's Unholy Majesty demonstrated a real songwriting talent, combining her folk rock roots with a heavier, edgier sound. Playing Cardiacs covers does her no harm in my books either.
