Thanks for the great feedback buzzdainer. Appreciate the time that you took to do this. Acoustic at the Ryman is a fabulous album. It’s not often that I put a live as no. 1 but was happy to Do so for this one. I saw band of horses live here in London, I guess 5 years ago now, and they were stunning. Hope you enjoy the album as much as I do.

I always enjoy having a look at your year charts, as I generally don't include a lot of live albums on my own charts, which is probably an oversight in some cases. Case in point: your selection of a live Band of Horses album as your #1 album for 2014. I've recently been revisiting Band of Horses a bit more, as I think I've tended to overlook them a little bit. The fact that I love Tyler Ramsey's new album so much has been kind of an invitation to go back to the Band of Horses releases when he was in the band to listen for the creativity and musicianship that he brought to an already excellent group of musicians. I feel like Acoustic at the Ryman is an ideal opportunity to dig more deeply into their sound, so I'm going to use this afternoon's drive to a trailhead as my opportunity to give it a listen. Thanks for sharing this excellent chart!
