After a four year absence Marillion return with their most consistently great album ever! Three epics, Gaza, Montreal and Sky Above The Rain are surrounded by a selection of shorter songs which simply blow your mind. Even Happpiness Is The Road had one track that has not stood up to the rest (Older Than Me if you wanted to know...) Power is a tour de force of dark murmerings whilst Pour My Love could just be the best song never to get played on the radio! [First added to this chart: 10/02/2013]

Marillion's 2016 album is a thing of beauty! The soundscapes on this album are spellbinding and it was a well deserved entry in the UK top 5 Album chart! Only five songs but they are all crackers! Essential listening. [First added to this chart: 10/11/2016]

This one came out of nowhere and quickly became one of my favourite albums EVER! Moody, glacial, brooding, heavy, melodic, introspective, all words that could describe this selection of songs! [First added to this chart: 10/02/2013]

A better collection of songs you will struggle to find anywhere else!
Stands the test of time and the new Vinyl re-issue sounds fantastic.

Superb double concept album shows that some 25 years on Marillion can still make powerful and emotional music. [First added to this chart: 12/01/2010]

Gazpacho continue to amaze me with their ability to put together albums of beauty and class. March Of Ghosts is a small departure from their past three albums - it's still a concept album but it's made up of individual songs. Haunting, delicate and harsh by turns. How they seem to write music that gets better every single time I just don't know.
Stand out track on first listen is Golem but the rest of the album just keeps rewarding the listener!

Marillion's first double CD set from 2004 has hints of Pink Floyd as well as their own sound. Ocean Cloud is just 17 minutes of epic music! [First added to this chart: 12/01/2010]

I like Marillion and agree that their last album is some of the best music done so I won't rate you low, though I agree with the previous comments, more variety can benefit you. I also like to see Porucupine Tree so high. Maybe you can check the band Riverside (i.e "Second Life Syndrome") and Phideaux's "Doomsday Afternoon". If you do, please tell me ;)

Marillion and Gazpacho appear on this chart more times than Nicholas Cage has appeared in my local movie theater. On a list that's only 59 albums in population, there's a lot of room for other great bands and their works to be introduced.

No, this Chart is too simple.
Marillian may be a good band but there are sure more good bands on this planet.

I like Gazpacho in your chart, but really, the last Marillion is not the best Marillion... And their double album is also not essential, imho. At least Marbles or Brave, if we speak about Hogarth's period.

Like the rest of the chart but I'm really not a Marillion fan. Sorry!
