Perhaps my favorite top 5 of any year chart with the next 10 following them not being shabby one iota. I think the top 25-30 is really strong.
My current top 4 from 1972 (Foxtrot, Ziggy, Close to the Edge, and Machine Head) each stake serious claim in my top 25 or 30 albums ever. The margin between these specific albums is incredibly thin. This is an excellent year for music.
