Lou is an incredible musical chameleon and songwriter. He is better known for The VU but a lot of great, diverse and interesting solo material. Transformer, Berlin, Sally Can't Dance, Coney Island Baby, Street Hassle, The Blue Mask, Legendary Hearts are all classics in my opinion. However, I would recommend all his albums as part of a journey of one of music's most important artists.
