Scary that we're approaching this song's 10th birthday, and yet there's nothing surprising about how well it still holds up. Already earned its place in history as one of the best pop songs ever.

Lady Gaga never fails her mission to be considered fresh, unique, and the strangest in her music styling. Sometimes it's so over the top that it's amusing and enjoyable. Cue this example. It's so ridiculous, that parody is essentially inevitable. The attention this single has garnered is insane, so what is it about it? Well, unconventional vocal sounds and diction, dance-ability, and an indisputably catchy hook for starters.
But as for most pop, there is a downside. The track is way over-produced (so is all of Lady Gaga's immaculate work) with its complicated layering. I can't completely treat it seriously, but it's still charmingly enjoyable to listen. Consider this a guilty pleasure of mine.
