Dreams ratings
Average Rating = (n ÷ (n + m)) × av + (m ÷ (n + m)) × AVwhere:
av = trimmed mean average rating an item has currently received.
n = number of ratings an item has currently received.
m = minimum number of ratings required for an item to appear in a 'top-rated' chart (currently 10).
AV = the site mean average rating.

Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 91.8/100, a mean average of 91.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 92.1/100. The standard deviation for this track is 11.3.

One of Four singles from the album, this is quintessential Buckingham / Nicks Fleetwood Mac sound.
Stevie’s vocals on this track are phenomenal, as they are on most songs on this album TBH and the harmonising is great (I’m going to be saying that a lot as I write something on each track). I can’t put my finger on it but I find something quite hypnotic about the track.
Someone described this track as having “uncluttered instrumental backing”. I completely get that. I comparison to some other track son the album it feels quite simple but when you read about everything that went into recording it, it is far from that
This is one of the most layered songs I've ever heard. There are so many elements to this song that I am still discovering on each listen. McVie's baseline is incredible, Buckinghams guitar playing is ethereal, and the ghostly backing vocals are beautiful.
I only like Dreams more as time goes on. This is one of the great recordings in pop/rock history. So much magic in the nooks and crannies of the music with Stevie Nicks’ lead vocal is the straw that stirs the drink.
I ask with true sincerity: In the pop canon, is there a better *single line* than “Have you any dreams you’d like to sell?”
This song is pure magic. The best part in my opinion is the waiting in the prechorus where Nicks goes on "And what you had/And what you lost" and the song circles around the two chords. I like the way it doesn't go straight to the chorus, but there is this short part of tension; it's such an unique structure for a pop song.
Great song nothing more to say
Great vocals, can't believe it was her first try.
I could listen to this song many times over and not get tired of it.
Well Well, very great song with beautiful lyrics and well maked, but I though that can get better
Oh my Lord... :)
Stevie Nicks is absolutely wonderful on this track. Her voice makes me feel weak. The lyrics are also incredible.
