Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 88.5/100, a mean average of 88.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 89.0/100. The standard deviation for this track is 11.6.

I love this song. Great drum beat intro with nice sparse bass. Join the keyboards. Then a melody on what sounds like a xylophone (electric). But best of all - Robert Smith's cagey delivery - superb.
One of the best pop songs of all time.
The sparse beat here anticipates the xx.
One of their pop-iest songs, one of their catchiest songs... so what? Great song.
Silly as some of their other pop efforts. Would probably fit on Japanese Whispers more.
Honestly found this song a low point on the album. Still a solid song, though.
One of their most catchiest songs and one of their best tracks
Great song along with In Between Days, though I personally prefer this one.
Those keyboards are so cheesy. but the song itself is so good it makes up for it.
