This song is almost 60 years old...let that sink in.
1966 McCartney was on another level. The imagery of this song is unbelievable, I love the video for it too cut out of the Yellow Submarine movie. Certainly a top 5 Beatles song. Not much more to say. It’s a magical song

McCartney was truly a genius. The way he could just come up with melodies like this all the time just seems beyond what humans should be able to envision.
How the actual Christ was this recorded in 1966?? Timeless!
One of the best songs ever written, from the lyrics to the strings (copied by everyone for years afterwards) to one of the best melody lines in history.
