At 6:34, Q Part 2 is the album's "quickie." The song opens with an electronic motif and relatively straight distortion guitar reminiscent of early to mid 70s underground progressive rock with ambient overtones. At about the 5 1/2 minute mark, the sax joins back in and the guitar and sax weave contrapuntal lines in and out of each other like some sort of mutated DNA strand, until the final chord and shimmery percussion fade. A fine song on its own, it also really serves as an interlude (a six and a half minute interlude) between the opening mayhem and the incredible side 2 of the album (yes, this was built with vinyl release intent, and it shows, much to the album's benefit).

A lot of hard work happens in the background to keep BEA running, and it's especially difficult to do this when we can't pay our hosting fees :(
