Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 90.6/100, a mean average of 89.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 90.8/100. The standard deviation for this track is 12.3.

The review below “Goes on too long and the beat gets old real fast” ... 9/10. What the heck.

Groovy, dark and dangerous. Reminds me of ABBA's "The Day Before You Came"

This song is pure genius. It's Arcade Fire's second best song right after Neighbourhood #1 (Tunnels).

This song is likely my second favourite from the album (after "Afterlife"). Really, I am always sad when the song is over which is something that just cannot be said for most tracks of this length. I'm not sure how they do it, but it is truly remarkable however it's done.

Man, he sees a lot of Reflektors... but actually after repeated listens I think that it merits the 7:30. Enough subtle changes to keep it interesting. Not a bad song

I just watched the music video for this song the day before yesterday, and I found it quite funny. The pure motivation which led me to the music video was the appeal of the song itself. With that said, its uniquely refreshing structure always gives me something new every time I listen to it. The disco beat grooves in a hardcore way and then there is that piano line (sheer awesomeness) which reminds me of that one in "Wake Up". Apart from the fun I have with this song, soft bitterness mixed with sweetness (especially from the female French lines) that makes me feel like dancing is beyond description too.
