Awesome album. Tracks 2-4 are especially awesome. Haven't listened to it in a while though, I'll try to listen tomorrow.

One of my top 20 albums ever, and one of the albums (along with Elephant) that really got me into music as a hobby about ten years ago.

There was a funny moment on the Dan Patrick show last week where they played Ocean Breathes Salty out of commercial break and Dan thought it was Hall and Oates. Hilarity ensured. It's kind of funny when you hear them right next to each other.

I don't really like Modest Mouse at all, but this album is okay. Ultimately it feels as overly ambitious, annoying, and like it's trying too hard as any other MM album, but it certainly has its moments.

This is pretty great. Got me into them when I was 15, and really had a big influence on me getting interested in alternative and indie rock music.

I really like it. I'm part of those who don't like their early albums Embarassed I still prefer Moon & Antarctica, but this one is my second favorite by a good margin. And whatever Scaruffi says, Float On is amazing.

This album is just as amazing as most of their work. Good news does not create the same atmosphere as M&A, but it does come with the same emotion of the album, just more obvious. While M&A might cover topics of our place in the universe, our purpose, religion, and etc., it has that feeling of comfort that good news also has. I think M&A is better in execution and just does what Good news except better, but Good news is still amazing.
