Not really. It was alright, I guess.

I like this one. The songwriting is hit-or-miss and it doesn't play like anything more than a collection of songs, but I love their energy. It's over-the-top, catchy, rebellious in a sort of conformist way, and above all else, FUN. They're Van Halen meets the Sex Pistols. It doesn't work if you take it seriously, though.

My favorite tracks:

Welcome to the Jungle - This is everything that was good about the band in a nutshell. If they had stuck to songs like this (rather than that "November Rain" bullshit), they would have held a decent fan base even after alternative rock's coup-d'état. Alas, that was not to be.
Paradise City - Almost as good as the opening track, but with a hint of surf rock.
Mr. Brownstone - The only song that actually interests me a little. It's like they thought about what they were saying. I guess if there was one thing they were experts in, it was drug addiction.

I love it. "Think About You" is underrated imo.

I'm not a Guns N' Roses fan my every by any means, in fact everything they've done after this has been pretty meh, but I love this, currently 44th on my overall chart. Guess I'd pick 'My Michelle' or 'Mr. Brownstone' as my highlights, but it's great throughout.

I love this album, easily the best thing GNR ever released. I'm a sucker for good guitar and Slash is phenomenal. The lyrics get pretty cheesy at times and are honestly mediocre at best, but everything else around it is pretty awesome. It's not in my top 100 or anything, but I've always liked it a lot.

Da fuuuuuuuuu?

"November Rain" is probably my favorite GNR song. That guitar solo gives me goosebumps every time, it's like pure magic. Easily top 15 guitar solos of all time.

Their other albums are really inconsistent, but this one has quite a few great songs on it (especially on Side 1) and less filler.
