I love baseball! I love opening day and the entire season to follow! My fave teams are the Toronto Blue Jays and the Boston Red Sox in the American League and the St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Phillies in the National League.
I am hoping that the acquisitions made by the Jays translate into a team that once again challenges for the World Series.
I also like the Angels and they appear to be armed with a ferocious offense, at least on paper. April is a special time and let's enjoy it.
Good luck to all teams... except for the hated Yankees!!!

Yes I think there are actually two Cheers bars in Boston, though I've never been to either. Not much of a city person, so the only time I go into Boston is for concerts and sporting events...never been a bar hopper.
And yes Romanelli the '07 World Series was an absolute massacre. Honestly in both of the Red Sox recent championship runs, the ALCS was so much more memorable and dramatic than the World Series, considering they swept both teams in the World Series. I kind of wish at least one was close, but I can't complain too much. Being a Boston sports fan has been pretty incredible since the turn of the century. I'm hoping the Sox can pull me back in this year. I don't even care if they aren't a great team, I just want them to be a likable team I can root for.

One out from a perfect game. That's pretty tough. Great performance, though. The Astros are a pretty sad team. _________________ May we all get to heaven
