His sense of humor is what has always made him underrated...you don't have to tell every joke that pops into your head, and his attempts at being funny very often overshadowed his great playing.
Here's 35 minutes of Frank destroying. The Shut Up N Play Yer Guitar series was three volumes of just Frank shredding. You should be able to find what you need somewhere in here. But his playing is everywhere in his discography...honestly, you shouldn't have to look very far at all.
