Dead serious. I was the first one raving about the excellence of Perils, and I still think it's the better record. Perils is more consistently great, but not 300+ spots better. Not when Desertshore has Mariette, Tavoris Cloud, Katowice or Cologne, Don't Ask About My Husband.
I'd even go as far to argue that Tavoris Cloud was the best song Koz released last year, although You Missed My Heart and Gustavo are both perfect. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

"Baby In Death Can I Rest Next Your Grave" is probably my favourite track Kozelek's written. Gorgeous. Also love how we manage to fit Koz into every thread of late .

Don't really get Reflektor yet, but I love Modern Vampires of the City and think it's an instant classic.

I'm struggling to think of two albums that have had less of an impact on me, whether positive or negative. Maybe Fleet Foxes and Helplessness Blues.

Haha! I think Fleet Foxes self-titled debut is also an instant classic. Helplessness Blues doesn't quite match it, but it's still pretty solid. Their debut is easily one of my favorite albums from the last ten years or so.
