Firstly thanks everyone who took part, 41 lists counted in total so I'd say it's a pretty credible survey of what BEA users are into. Close to 1000 albums nominated, list trimmed to a top 350 so that all albums here voted for at least twice.

Thoughts on this list:

It's pretty cool. I'd say it's more esoteric, and less classic than the last one. In some ways that's cool and in some ways it's just weird.

If You're Feeling Sinister is a much better number 1 than Loveless was. But damn VU&N dropped far from a comfortable number 2 to now 44. Hell even WL/WH is ranked higher. I am not sure what changed there. Just interesting.

Two Talk Talk in top 5 surprised me a little. Then I remembered they're worshipped 'round here. Oh and "Spirit of Eden" is better

Okay and one of my main gripes/confusions is HOW THE FUCK IS KIND OF BLUE AT 122?!? Have we lost out minds? While an album like BSatSL is in the top 10? Don't get me wrong I think Black Ain't deserves to be there, but I am just surprised that the legendary, perfect gem of gems Kind Of Blue is ranked so much lower than it and even Love Supreme.

Ys... I don't believe the hype. At all. Come on, people.

After the top 10 we have a really interesting and wicked top 50 or so. I love where YHF, Moon and Antarctica, Spiderland, and London Calling and Slanted Enchanted, and Bee Thousand and so on landed. I think Pink Moon and Highway 61 should be higher (I thought they would be), but I'm glad they got some top 40 love.
