THIS IS MY SHIT!!! Such an amazing album from start to finish. No weak tracks. Just one great song after another. SO AMAZING!!!

Exceptional record. I certainly prefer Boxer, but I'm not sure which one is second between this and Alligator. Great band.

One of my favourite albums, my second favourite National album after TWFM, but it's often hard to choose.
Vanderlyle Crybaby Geeks is such a powerful ending to the album, the start of the second verse gives me shivers every time I hear it. It might well be my favourite song on the album, but with Bloodbuzz, Lemonworld and England, I could never say.
Brilliantly gloomy and unforgiving.

this was so big for me when it came out. like incredibly gigantic this-band-is-the-best-in-the-world big. now, eh... weird how things change.

I know I listened to it, I haven't the smallest recollection of this though.
EDIT: just realized I rated it 60. Must have thought it was slightly above average I reckon.
