Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 12% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 74.7/100, a mean average of 73.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 74.7/100. The standard deviation for this album is 13.8.

This is a very consistent album with all tracks great to enjoy. From The Fallen to Walk Away and Fade Together, this album is awesome and is on my high rotation list.
A bit inconsistent and not cohesive (the problem with 99% of indie pop rock albums), but there are some great songs here.
un buen inicio pero va decayendo poco a poco en mi opinión, no deja de ser un album disfrutable pero no memorable.
Favoritas: The Fallen, Do You Want To, Walk Away
Questo è un buon disco che però, per forza di cose, non ha, se non in qualche episodio, la freschezza e la forza innovativa del suo predecessore.
It's alright this, nothing wrong with it, but nothing to shout about either. Punk(ish) indie pop in the main with the first two tracks, both singles, the best.
It's definitely a step back from the awesomeness that was their debut, but there's still some good catchy songs on here. And I don't think these guys were ever trying to do anything revolutionary. All they were ever trying to do is make some dance-y rock songs. And they've succeeded in doing that.
Great album, it has the most rocking songs of their discography.
I like this album very much. They have a unique vibe about their music, even though I'm aware of their many influences, I do like their beatlesque melodies, you can hear it alot in this album!
Good indie rock/post-punk revival/dance-punk album. Best 10 songs average is 85,8/100 and the album can get good 85/100. Far and away best song is "Do you want to" 95/100, followed by "The fallen", "This boy", "Walk away" and "Outsiders" all 85/100. All other songs 70-80/100.
I think this is the best album from them, almost every song is perfect, from "Walk Away" the album is getting better and better, there are many fast tracks ("Evil And A Heathen", "You are the reason..", "Well that was easy", "What You Mean"), some really great melodic songs ("Fade Together", "Eleanor Put Your Boots On"), and the order of the songs are very good, the album is building up itself. My favourite is the "Walk away" also the song and the clip.
