Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a Bayesian average rating of 60.7/100, a mean average of 60.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 60.3/100. The standard deviation for this album is 22.2.

Strong pop album, with indie and rock influences. Strong track-list for the most part, with an incredibly strong first side, but there are one or two meh tracks on side two that feel like filler. They don't rob too much of the experience of the album though, and is overall a very fun and interesting listen. Nice debut from a talented band.

A fantastic pop rock record. Wouldn't hesitate to call this a modern classic. Tons of variety and really cool instrumentation.

After this it all went down, terribly terribly down, and this album was pretty bad too, but it got much worse...

It's Time and Tiptoe are personal favs of mine. There are other goods songs in here. As a album, it sucks. So much damn filler and garbage. Like the band tho

Demons is so bad. Radioactive is decent and It's Time is actually pretty good

"Radioactive" is one of the best songs of the 2010s. I remember when I first heard it I thought this kind of indie/dubstep combo was creative and revolutionary. The other singles are catchy if not nearly on the same level. The album tracks are pretty damn awful filler.

This is a strange album. the first 5 or 6 are great, but the next six are lackluster and boring. disappointing after such a great start.
