Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 57.1/100, a mean average of 54.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 54.3/100. The standard deviation for this album is 26.2.

I feel there is a misconception that pop albums that have singles that reach the hot 100 cannot possibly be good. Ke$ha, whatever you may think of her debut and image, did wonders on Warrior. She experimented successfully with many different styles of music and mixed it well with EDM. I suppose it's been done before her. But she did it well and it's irresistibly catchy.
This album changed my whole entire perspective of Kesha. The deluxe version of this album includes my favorite song, Past Lives (which is produced by the Flaming Lips), but other great songs are Dirty Love (with Iggy Pop), Wonderland, Only Want To Dance With You (with Julian Casablancas of the Strokes), and Last Goodbye.
The other amazing part of this release is the EP that came with the album, Deconstructed, which contains broken down versions of 5 songs. Old Flames Can't Hold a Candle to You, Blow, Die Young, The Harold Song, and Supernatural.
Completely disposible.
Since the beginning of her pop career, I've been a Ke$ha fan. The initial guilty pleasure of her music turned into full-fledged appreciation of her as an artist. - On the surface, Kesha's albums have always been about dance pop, and Warrior delivers! The first five tracks are solid, and that style resurfaces in later songs as well. Fans of Kesha's mainstream hits will not be disappointed. Kesha can still rap and be endearingly crude, but that doesn't stop her from singing with a new sense of purpose.
