I found this in the $5 bin at Walmart recently, after seeing the movie Cadillac Records. What a voice.
Okay so maybe the record sounds a bit dated. Doesn't take away from that amazing voice. That girl could definitely sing.

BorkI've probably owned this record for 15 years but never got around to properly listening to it until after she died. I have to say the girl could sing. Love that voice. As for the record though...this is one of the biggest disappointments ever. The material is pretty darned dull.
Best track is, of course, At Last.
I know this album well. Etta James can sing any kind of music she wants, and does it better than almost everyone. At Last has some really great moments on it. daCritic is right...you should hearthis.
