If you have no Sabbath then this is a collection of a lot of great songs for a starting point. My main gripe with this is out of 32 tracks, only 2 are of Dio era (there are many more songs that should of been included) and only one has a track from when Ian Gillan sang. I guess the title sums it up as the best of Black sabbath came from the early albums. I guess I would of preferred a bit more of an anthology with a few more tracks from there latter years even though the songs weren't in the same league. Instead of this I'd suggest getting any of the first 6 albums (as the majority of tracks on this come from them) or even 'Heaven & Hell'.
