Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a Bayesian average rating of 73.4/100, a mean average of 72.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 73.6/100. The standard deviation for this album is 13.6.

Picks up where Even Worse dropped off. Sunshine harmonies of gun violence, acoustic ballads recounting torture, affection as a setup for a rug pull, and a sudden disdain for his once-beloved television. So much hate. Al treads wherever pop dares to go, his rap chops are getting better and he's sampling UHF-style commercial bits to great comedic effect. But that wasn't good enough... he delayed the release just long enough for a once-in-a-generation song to revolutionize pop culture - he then went straight for the jugular, brutally ridiculing the new sound and winning over a generation in the process.

Right in the middle of his solid streak. As good as any other.

The defining album of my youth. Weird Al's strength was in his lyrics, obviously, but even his original melodies have been burned in my head foer decades.

"Weird Al" Yankovic @ his creative peak. "Trigger Happy" & "You Don't Love Me Anymore" are hilarious originals & his parodies of "Smells Like Teen Spirit", "Rico Suave" and "The Right Stuff" are not to be missed !
