Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. Whoever says the 80's didn't have any good funk music besides Prince, just listen to this.
One of the most important records for funk music as well as music in general. The blueprint of the G-Funk era and the start of the talkbox master Roger Troutman. Best songs are More Bounce to the Ounce, Freedom, Brand New Player, Be Alright and Coming Home.
