Don't let the 70/100 average rating fool you, this is a GREAT death metal album. I kinda doubt Dark Throne could've made another great death metal album like this one, but here is where you can see why there is such strong death metal influences on their first black metal album, A Blaze In the Northern Sky. This album is cold, icy, and brutal. Highly recommended if you need a good death metal record.
Quite a lot going on here. Could be among my favorites by Darkthrone.
