I realize this album is more historically significant than it is musically significant, but I find it a little strange that it’s not at least recognized as being as much here, or even acknowledged, really. This band and album represent the genesis of a number of longstanding rock traditions...read up on the album.
The album isn’t great, but it isn’t unlistenable. Lead singer Jinx Dawson bears a strong vocal resemblance to Heart’s Ann Wilson, and I can’t help but wonder if she influenced Wilson directly. Check out “Pact With Lucifer” to see what I mean.

Thought this album was going to rock and be dark as hell per the album title, track names, and being listed as "heavy metal"... Turned out to be pretty tame and a little lackluster. Shocking Blue is the better version of this band.
