Great, gentle voice singing sad love songs over 50s jazz instrumentals. Very enjoyable for me in certain mood.

Exquisite from front to back.
I enjoy the soft sounds of his voice and trumpet. Would be nice to spin during the evening and just contemplate life.

This is an absolute classic in many ways musically, and artistically... Smooth music performed so well. I bet this was a favorite album of college and university students of the time. Unforgettable!
If you are into melancholy music, this is an interesting listen to feel out where that distinct sound first came from.

'But Not for Me' and 'My Funny Valentine' are some favourites. The rest of the tracks here fall between average and listenable. A decent album overall.

Jazz super influente no Brasil e no mundo.
By Good. Chet is the predecessor of any sad man, with any kind of instrument. This is 1954!
He don't wail, he don't try, he just does. Please try him out. Preferable with inears on a sad cafe/bar in a strange country, or just your local inn.

Very smooth voice. The music is not my cup of tea. I feel the focus is on voice and lyrics and musically is boring.
