"Get To Know A Top 10" Listening Project

I had an idea to build community on BEA. Users who have all-time top 10s that they currently feel happy with can submit them for consideration. These should all have at least one album that's not typical fare for a top 10, the more the better. The community votes on which top 10 we'd like to explore and discuss first. Then, people listen to and discuss those ten albums in a designated thread for a month. Everyone gets to know the albums that are near and dear to that person, and spend some time dissecting them. Then, we move on to a new user for the next month. Is this an idea people would be interested in participating in? Vote if you're interested and reply if you would like to nominate your own top 10. If enough people are into this we can get started in April.

I'd like for mine to be from my "New Additions" custom chart. I know that 99 percent of the albums on there can be found on youtube. My top album on my greatest chart is only available to fully stream on Spotify.

God I want to nominate my hair metal album chart but I'm not that cruel.

I'll nominate my black metal chart, though if that's not palatable for everyone (I know black metal isn't for everyone), I'll nominate my soul chart

Do you mean picking a list of your ten favorites from someone's chart? There's nothing stopping you from doing that, but let's keep the group discussion for each month focused on a shared set of ten albums.

I was going to offer my indie chart, but I've been so out of the loop with that entire world recently that it feels like a strange choice... and my South American chart needs a major overhaul, hoping to do that soon...
