Thanks!  II've already liked QotSA for a very long period of time and Boris too since a long while ago (thus, Stoner music is so cool!), so II've listened to Welcome to Sky Valley four times overall in a quite long period of time, since II think Kyuss's (and other projects of John Garcia's) melodies are simpler, thus, less captivating for me than the repertoire of QotSA and Boris, but II think it is slowly growing on me, since my 4th listen felt great, so II'm gonna keep listening! |
I get what you mean about being simpler etc. but I think that can make their music more immediate. Glad that you are getting into them.
Another quality album from them was
Blues For The Red Sun by Kyuss
Not quite as good as sky valley but still a good album
