There was a previous thread that was centered around guessing a person's music taste based on their appearance, but this is to guess someone's appearance based on their musical taste

Punk, Hip Hop and Country are genres that come to mind.

Pretty sure everyone reading this can picture the typical clothing styles that these genres have helped to establish.

Realistically Iโ€™m prep goth and I always have a bomb fragrance on

Smart, but also dark

You all take part in this, letโ€™s judge everyone ๐Ÿ˜„

โ€œTypical outfitโ€ for me

Top: Oxford button down (Vineyard Vines is my favorite, but I pick whatever has the best quality and fit at the time)
Bottoms: Chinos (Bonobos and Burberry)
Shoes: Dress shoe (usually To Boot New York or John Varvatos, if Iโ€™m wearing sneakers I almost always have Allbirds on)

but with a twist, I love John Varvatos monk straps, the ones I have came pre-โ€œdistressedโ€
Itโ€™s all about that attitude, and I love fragrances that match it

When I comes to fragrances, I am extremely open minded, but typically I find that my absolute favorite fragrances (especially this time of the year) are incense based aquatics (currently have on Dylan Blue)

Far from country for sure, I have grown to dislike the American south after spending a few years there (Orlando doesnโ€™t really follow typical Southern norms)

cartoon version is like a cool squid with glasses and human version is like medium height, you can pull off a bold color but you can play the neutral tone too and aren't afraid of shorts when it's hot out. and jeans keep you grounded. also feel like human version maybe wears contacts.

cartoon version is an owl but like normally owls come off as old but this one comes off as young without seeming like a child owl. for the human version, it seems like you do put some financial investment into clothing, like "fit conscious" and quality materials and a sort of style where there's a decent chance if you went to a bar and got in a barfight and then escaped, you may have been wearing something distinctive enough to where eyewitness testimony would lead to them being caught. the detective looking in your closet is like "that's the shirt from the testimony".

You got it half right: I don't wear glasses/contacts but I am a literal squid. (Actually your clothing descriptions were dead on.)

For you I'm thinking pale, semi-translucent skin. Dark hair that swirls around slowly like the tendrils of an anemone, which is soft to the touch but fatally poisonous. A severely defined nose which stands in contrast to a soft jawline and barely pronounced lips. Black tweed jacket with a barely visible iridescent red checkered pattern, silk gloves with lace, grey skinny jeans and big sturdy hiking boots caked in mysterious liquid. A duffel bag containing esoteric writings, survival gear, and an arcane dagger. You're crawling with moths.
