For future reference, this tourney will hereafter be referred to as the BDAT.
This is the final bracket. The total number of albums is 128, so the tournament structure will be pretty conventional. For the first round of the tournament, 4 matchups will be decided every 3 days. For the next four rounds, 4 matchups will be decided every 2 days. The semifinals will last 2 days as well, and the finals will last 3 days.
Anyway, that's all the news for now, so get to listenin'!

Impressive bracket! I look forward to this. Unfortunately, For Emma Forever Ago and Unknown Pleasures are super close together, which will make me pick which of my 2 favorite albums is my favorite ... that is, unless mistakes are made and they don't make it far enough. _________________

The Airborne Toxic Event, Maybe You've Been Brainwashed Too, OK Go, Kinks, Drums and Wires, Boy, Ramones, Nevermind the Bollocks Here's the Sex Pistols, Funeral, The B-52s, Vampire Weekend, Give Up, Franz Ferdinand, The Smiths, Oracular Spectacular, Talking Heads 77, Homework, #1 Record, Looking Sharp, In The Aeroplane Over The Sea, Parachutes, The La’s, The Slim Shady LP, 40oz to Freedom, The Specials, The Heist (if it counts), Pablo Honey, Bleach, Grace, Horses, Gish, Fleet Foxes, Mellow Gold, Kraftwerk, Here’s Little Richard, and The Who Sings My Generation all didn’t make it. _________________

In orange - I know that sucks... I was back and forth between The Who's and Tom Waits' debut and I ended up picking Waits. Fucking brilliant BRILLIANT debut.
And in red, that is not a debut. "On Avery Island" is. And THAT is also a fab debut that missed the cut.
