Zauberberg by Gas

Chart: Top 100 Greatest Music Albums by Necharsian
Rank on User's Chart: 4
Year: 1997
Rank on BEA Overall: 6,866
Average Rating: 79/100
Summary Info: This dark and dissonant ambient experience is the second album from Gas, a Germany-based electronic artist.

Necharsian wrote:
Frightening yet refreshing Zauberberg is an essential "lonely" album. It sooths you into a vulnerable state of calmness while you gradually start hearing sounds that makes you more and more uneasy. Like not seeing anything in the dark until your eyes adjust. This is what living in complete seclusion feels like.

Zauberberg is in my collection, as part of Nah und Fern.

I havn't really "connected" with it yet, I like it quite a bit though.

I find I use it as background music while doing other tasks though. Embarassed
