This'll be the most action the 2 on your keyboard's had since 1222.
Or that time you wanted to continuously switch tabs all day.
Or since $22.22 cable bills were a thing.
Long time ago.

Earl Sweatshirt's Sick! is being released January 14th. The first single, 2010, reminds us we're old.

Mitski's got an album coming out too. Good on her. It's called Laurel Hell. I think it'll be fun. It sounds like she's slowly going mad, which is in keeping with the times.
Beach House also has an album coming out— a big fat one. They've already released 8 songs from it.

And following-up BEA's #1 album of 2021, Black Country, New Road is releasing Ants From Up There February 4th.
Danny Brown's Quaranta is also on the way. New albums from Charli XCX, Animal Collective, Tanya Tagaq, Let's Eat Grandma, 100 Gecs, Park Jiha, Eels, Boris, Bonobo, and Rosalía around the corner too.
Promising start.
What are you looking forward to in 2020 Vol. III?

That Beach House album will surely be an AOTY contender for me. The 8 songs we have so far are a fantastic project already. I'm not sure of much coming out in 2022 thats already been announced. Excited for Earl and Danny Brown of course. Expecting Freddie Gibbs, Pusha T, and Kendrick in 2022 so very high expectations for those guys of course. New Bonobo intrigues me so hopefully that ends up being good. Im also hoping to get some new albums from Maxo and Mavi. I feel both of them are on the verge of dropping masterpieces.
Flatbush Zombies and RZA dropped a couple great singles this week so hopefully a new Flatbush Zombies album is on the way, even better if its a RZA collab album.
List of albums that'll be out this month is wild. Absolutely incredible for a January. Weeknd, Earl, Anaïs Mitchell, Boris, King Gizzard, FKA Twiggs, Burial, Wilderun, a live from Anna von Hausswolff. New BCNR, Animal Collective, Yeule and Mitski, all on the 4th of February. Just wow. I'm sure there'll be some random metal and hip hop albums dropping out of nowhere too(or out of nowhere for me at least). _________________ Finally updated the overall chart
Twigs has a 'mixtape' on the way. 17 tracks, a couple collaborations, notes that it's a bit more 'fun'. Caprisongs. January 14th. _________________ Submit Your List for BEA's 2023 Film Poll!
New Daniel Bachman, Lonesome Weary Blues, very nice (if somewhat impersonal-ish maybe) if you're into the most melodic forms of American Primitivist guitar.

Also, strange (for me that is, who is not getting any younger) techno-ish release (or "power noise" apparently) which is more sour than your strongest acid. Very stubborn, almost tiring, but sometimes actaully exciting.
The Weeknd has announced he's releasing a new album this week. Dawn FM.
It features Jim Carrey, which means it's already a certified Canadian classic.
Canadian classic indeed! I've been really enjoying The Weeknd's recent synth-driven music. This album is produced largely by Onehotrix Point Never which is pretty cool (he produced 2 tracks on After Hours). Quincy Jones and Josh Safdie (half of the Safdie brothers who made Uncut Gems which featured The Weeknd) also appear in speaking roles like Jim Carrey. _________________ 51 Washington, D.C. albums!
