Here's an update for you guys.

The deadline is 12:00 AM Pacific Time on February 1. I'm keeping up with everything as I go so hopefully I'll be able to post the lists very soon thereafter, roughly two weeks from right now.

Just some spoiler-free notes about the statistics so far (which includes all lists except the two that didn't separate them; those will be added if they don't get around to changing anything else at the last minute)...

Currently 31 men have at least 100 points. While it's wide open for breaking into the top ten, eight men currently have 200 or more points, while six of them are way out front with over 300 points. Of those top six, ten points separates first from third and eight points separate fourth from sixth.

As for the women, an astonishing 42 have over 100 points already while fourteen have reached 200, but only two have hit 300 points.

So basically it's still wide open. The leaders have a nice jump but all it would take is missing a list of two to get knocked back, while most of the rest could jump up or down 20 spots just from one list. A lot of surprising names are above and below the cut-off line right now. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

3 days left for anyone to get in a new list or submit any changes. I've got everything calculated so let me know if any older posts get edited. If the changes are minimum (i.e. adding a couple forgotten names) it's a piece of cake to fix the points but if you wanna jumble a bunch of names up or double the size of your list I'll probably just completely delete your old one from the database and recalculate points. It's still wide open right now; three men and two women are neck and neck for #1 (anyone wanna take a guess who? I won't tell regardless) but there are others not far behind.

Yeah, I'd like to take a guess who they are. Philip Seymour Hoffman, Daniel Day-Lewis, Gary Oldman. .
And Meryl Streep and Bette Davis.

Deadline is tonight, so let's see a few more lists come in. Looking forward to seeing the final product.

Indeed. The lists are compiled and ready and I think it looks quite nice. But another list or two and it'll be completely jumbled which I'm also fine with (as long as one name that's relatively low on the men's list stays Laughing )

Also the laptop is in the shop so I apologize in advance for creating a boring text only list. I'll probably make it on IMDb as well so pictures and filmographies are available for anyone who might not be familiar with a certain person.

Aw I forgot about Applerill and Squishypuffdave's lists. I contacted them a week or two back to see if they wanted to expand and/or split their lists but they never got back to me so I'll split them up and do the math. Math which will unfortunately place the low-ranking legend outside the top 50 Crying or Very sad

Good news is the laptop is here after all. So some kind of imagery will be produced.

POLL CLOSED

Edit: The lists have been compiled. Anyone around to make any bold predictions while I throw together a couple banners and type this up?

I'm doing tiebreakers by the way. Kind of like how NASCAR does their points standings (any race fans? Didn't think so...). If two people have the same amount of points, I go by who had the highest position on the lists. For example John Doe and Jack Mehoff both have 175 points. I go through their lists and see who was ranked highest. John was on ten lists but he didn't rank higher than 13th on any of them while Jack, who may have been on less lists made #2 on one of them. Therefore Jack gets the point. I'll still post the amount of points so you all know where the ties are but yeah, I don't like ties. And there's a lot of them.

Should have it up in an hour or so.
